TOWNS is an initiative developed by the Rural Room Media Stringers to creatively release the raw, colour, beauty and hidden stories within towns across regional Australia. We’re launching TOWNS with an array of stories from the Stringers.

Rural Room is a creative hub, which aims to release more stories from the sticks and generate a sustainable story telling legacy in regional communities.

The Rural Room Media Stringers Network, comprises photographers, writers, journalists, artists, videographers, designers, marketers and performers from remote areas all over the country.The Media Stringers create stories, through a variety of mediums, to share experiences of regional Australian life in their own, authentic voices.
